I feel greatly privileged to announce that BBrains Development Society commonly known as ‘BiharBrains’ has decided to convene its 2 nd Bihar Science conference 2009 on the campus of College of Commerce, Patna, Bihar (India) between 12 th of February and 14 th of February 2009. I hope it would prove to be a fortuitous opportunity for the young and budding scientists of the state of Bihar to rub their shoulders with a number of National and International luminaries working in different areas of Science ranging from Physical/Chemical Sciences to Modern Biology. Unlike the last conference, 2nd Bihar Conference would also invite experts and researchers from the areas of Mathematics and Clinical Psychology. I wish the conference bring in a new era of interdisciplinary and collaborative research. I would like to invite researchers and scientists from different parts of the world, working on various projects in their respective areas, and, caring to induce a better research environment in Bihar, to come up with innovative ideas regarding interdisciplinary and collaborative projects that could benefit the local research students/workers financially and intellectually.
