BBrains Development Society, commonly known as ‘BIHAR BRAINS’, is a non profit organization registered under Society Act with special focus on awareness building on education and creating environment for research and development in Bihar. The society came in existence in 2004 and has established its office in Patna. It is being run by Non Resident Indians(NRIs) and educated people of Bihar.
Patna is the capital of the Indian state of Bihar, and one of the oldest continuously inhabited places in the world. The modern city of Patna lies on the southern bank of the Ganges. A bustling city of 1,800,000 people, the city is approximately 25 km long and 10 km wide. The city, being the administrative centre of the state has retained its historic importance, It has also remained an important educational centre. over the centuries.
Patna University is 7th oldest University of Indian subcontinent, which was established in the year 1917. This preexisting university got recognition by UGC in 1956. It has several colleges and institutions, imparting education in diverse fields, including Law, Teachers’ Training, Science and Arts, Commerce, Medical and Engineering.
